Welcome to Braintree Public Schools!

The Braintree Public School (BPS) system services over 5,800 students. Beyond the academic day and year, students are able to access multiple opportunities in academic and social clubs and activities, visual and performing arts, athletics, and extended year support services and programs. 

We are happy to welcome all permanent residents of the Town of Braintree to our Braintree Schools.

All New Student Registrations are done online through
Family Connection.

If you are registering for Kindergarten 2026-2027 school year in the Fall:
Online Registration is available January 5, 2026 through January 21, 2026 for all eligible kindergarten students at:  https://www.braintreeschools.org/register

Families should register online during this time as space is limited.  Families registering after January 21, 2026 will be placed on a waitlist.
