As many of you have probably seen on the news, there has been an increase in the number of cases of flu and the norovirus (stomach bug) in our area. One of the best ways to prevent illness is with good handwashing. According to the CDC, "Handwashing is like a "do-it-yourself" vaccine—it involves five simple and effective steps (Wet, Lather, Scrub, Rinse, Dry) you can take to reduce the spread of diarrheal and respiratory illness so you can stay healthy." Please be sure to wash your hands frequently!
