In Media this month, we continued our learning by engaging with fiction and non-fiction books and videos. This is fun to do with Thanksgiving materials. With videos and books, we learned about the art of giving and being thankful. There is a lot to learn about a national holiday that began on Massachusetts land in 1620! We read the book Thanksgiving in the White House, by Gary Hines, and will finish the month with the book Thank You, Sarah: The Woman Who Saved Thanksgiving, by Laurie Halse Anderson. Thank you to all the families who donated to our school's food drive!
