Braintree Alliance for Safe and Healthy Youth (BASHY)

To provide community-wide effort to support both school and community programs and projects which promote comprehensive school health and human services including: health education, tobacco, alcohol and other drug prevention, a safe and healthy environment, nutrition and wellness.

Meetings are held every other month. Agendas for these meetings include discussions around what the Braintree Public School and the community at large are providing regarding the mission, goals, objectives, and activities are developed and improved. Program evaluation and monitoring are reviewed for effectiveness and impact and results are used to plan for the next academic year.

Each year BASHY holds "Making a Difference" - a parent/guardian educational workshop.
