Dear Hollis Families,
Welcome to the Hollis School website! I hope that you find the information on this site both useful and valuable. Our website is updated often by Hollis parent Erin Kennedy. We appreciate her work and would welcome any advice as to how to improve our site.
Hollis School is a K-5 elementary school with approximately 500 students. We are the largest elementary school in town in terms of enrollment and teaching staff. Hollis School also houses the district's Language Based Program. We are a school that is dedicated to improving student achievement at all levels. The staff is highly qualified and committed to educating Braintree's young children. Our students are hardworking and accepting of others. The Hollis School PTO is an active group that consistently strives to help our school through organized fundraising activities.
The curriculum of the Braintree Public Schools is rigorous. With that in mind, we know that everyone must work together to raise intelligent and caring children. The motto of Hollis School is Together Everyone Achieves More or TEAM. We know that when students, teachers, families, and staff members work together as a team, there is nothing we can't accomplish!
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Take care and enjoy our website.

Hollis School opens at 8:35 A.M.
In order to assure the safety of everyone, please adhere to the following instructions when dropping off your child in the morning. All parents must pull into the large side parking lot, turn around, and pull up to the side walkway where a staff member will be waiting to greet you and let your child out. Please keep cars in a single line and do not let your child out of the car if you are the second or third car in line. There have been too many near misses of pedestrian accidents with parents unloading their children on the wrong side and allowing them to cross the side driveway with cars entering and exiting.
Parking is allowed only in designated areas. There are two parking lots, one to theside of the school and one in the rear off Webster Road. Do not park in the 'no parking' areas, namely the front circular drive and the side driveway leading to the parking lot. The Braintree Police Department will ticket you.
All visitors must report to our school office immediately upon entering the building. Passes will be given to all visitors.
