Braintree Schools is in the process of creating a new website that brings all of our schools' pages under one site. We welcome your feedback on making the site user-friendly and determining what information you'd like to access when you visit.
Braintree Schools is beginning the process of developing a strategic plan to guide learning and teaching in the coming five years.
In the photo, fourth grade students and their teacher, Nick Pestone, plan for an educational video about the school's Buddy Bench. Elementary schools across the Commonwealth are using Buddy Benches to encourage students to play, talk and make connections with new friends.
Students at Braintree High School now have access to over 350 Chromebooks for use in classes. These are in addition to the six desktop labs. The high school has also upgraded a lab to iMacs; currently, students use the iMacs for video production and music composition. In the coming years, students will be able to bring their own Chromebook, laptop, and tablet devices and the coursework utilizing the iMacs may expand to include additional arts and languages. Nine of the district's schools are also experiencing upgrades in student technology.
