MUSICAL THEATRE
Location: Ross Café Time: 3:15 – 4:45 Teacher: Leslie & Company

A program designed to introduce a wide span and talent to the enjoyment of “Musical Theatre” in acting, singing, and dance. An Original Script Performance of “Pinocchio” will be performed. Costumes provided by students and family. Performance will be the last day of the session. Class Limit: 25

GET READY TO PLAY
Location: Highlands Playground Time 3:00 – 4:15
Teachers: Mrs. Johnson & Ms. Sullivan & Ms. Leminen
Day: Wednesday(4 weeks) Grades: 1&2
Day: Thursday (4 weeks) Grades: 3&4 Cost: $25.00

Join us outside for some fun! Games will include capture the flag, wiffle ball, kickball etc. Class Limit: 30

WELL KNOWN BOOKS FOR YOUNG READERS
Location: Highlands Room 19 Time: 3:00 - 4:00

During each class students will listen to a story and have a healthy snack while learning the importance of healthy eating and exercise. The class will end with an outdoor activity. Class Limit: 20

CREATIVE CRAFTS PART 2
Location: Hollis Room 102 Time: 3:00 – 4:00 Teacher: Ms. DeWitt
Day: Wed. (5 weeks) Grades: 3, 4, 5 Cost: $25.00(plus $4for mat.

This class will be a continuation of the first session with new projects. Each week we will focus on a craft made from everyday items such as chalk, bottles, cereal boxes, socks, plates, etc. Bring a peanut free snack, a drink and your creativity! Class Limit: 12

HOMEWORK CLUB/EXTRA HELP
Location: Hollis Room 304 Time: 3:00 – 4:00 Teacher: Mrs. Abbott

Need a quiet place to do homework, need a little extra help… come on in to Mrs. Abbott’s room for some homework help. Bring a snack for your brain power!! Class Limit: 15

EXTREME KICKBALL
Location: Highlands Playground Time: 3:00 - 4:15 Teacher: Ms. Sullivan & Ms. Fallon

Extreme Kickball!!! Will focus upon that summer game we all love to play. A large emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill building. Classes will be split into smaller groups and compete in games and in a tournament in a friendly, competitive environment ideal for spring weather! At the end of the session, each child will take home a kickball... Class Limit: 28

BOARD GAMES

After a tiring week of school, come start the weekend playing board games with old friends and new friends. Each week we will have several board games. Partner games and team games will be played. We will focus on partnership, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Bring a peanut free snack, a drink and be ready for fun times. Suggestions/requests for games will gladly be taken on the first day of class! Class Limit: 14

ARTS & CRAFTS

Join these teachers for fun filled Spring crafts. Take a craft home weekly.

JUST THE FACTS

We will practice math facts in fun ways. We will spend a full hour with flashcards, computer games, and basic drill so knowing our facts will becomes as easy as 2+2.

BEGINNER GUITAR TAKE 2

Join me in the morning with your guitar to learn notes and chords. Even if you have taken a guitar class before, you will learn something new in this course,. Class Limit: 12

TEDDY BEARS AND MORE

With different themes each week, children will delight in hearing stories read to them. Related activities will follow. Themes to be covered are teddy bears, flowers, animals, seas shore and dinosaurs. Class Limit: 20

ARTS AND CRAFTS

Spring is finally here, and we are going to make arts & crafts projects to celebrate! Each week we will explore a different spring theme and create a project to go with it. Bring a snack and your creativity! Dates: April 5,12, May 3,10,17 Class Limit: 12

KNITTING
Location: Hollis Art Room Time: 3:00 - 4:00 Teacher: Ms. Wilson
Day: Thursday (5weeks) Grades: 3,4,5 Cost: $25.00 (plus $10 for mat.)

In this course we will learn how to knit scarves. We will go over how to start a scarf, how to knit, and how to finish a scarf. Knitting is a fun hobby and a lifelong skill. Bring a snack and come join the fun! April 8,15,29, May 6,13 Class Limit: 12

NOT SO BORING BOARD GAMES
Location: Flaherty Room 16 Time:8:00 – 8:30 Teacher: Mrs. Keaney

Get your mind going first thing in the morning with some creative and critical thinking games that are fun. We will play several different board and card games such as Parcheesi, Letter Getter, Apples to Apples, Go Fish, Crazy Eights. Class Limit: 12

WACKY SCIENCE
Location: Highlands Room 14 Time 3:00 – 4:00 Teacher: Ms. Babineau & Ms. Faber
Day: Wednesday (5 weeks) Grades: 4 & 5 Cost: $25.00(plus $15. for mat)

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make slime? How about making invisible ink? This class will show you how! Discover how to make the most extraordinary things from everyday materials which will astound and surprise your friends. This is by far one of the coolest and wackiest ways to explore the science in the world around you!
