Snow Procedures
When inclement weather or other emergency situations force school delays or closings, the Superintendent will notify all parents and staff with a recorded message through the Connect-Ed phone system.

[Connect-Ed is a computerized telephone message system, used to expand communication between Braintree Public Schools and parents/guardians. Through Connect-Ed, parents are notified of a school closing due to inclement weather, as well as meetings and other important information. In the case of school closing or delayed start due to bad weather, parents and students will receive a telephone call early in the morning or, in some cases, the night before.]

In most instances, phone messages go out at approximately 5:45 a.m.

Additionally Braintree "no school" announcements will be broadcast by radio stations WBZ, WHDH/WRKO, WLVI, and television channels 4, 5, 7, 25 and 56.
